Massachusetts Flash Film Festival Today at 4 p.m.
Two screenings, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. of 10 films all for $5 at Belmont's Studio Cinema.

The first Massachusetts Flash Film Festival will be screening 10 entries vying for a $500 first prize today at the Studio Cinema at 376 Trapelo Road.
The first screening will be at 2 p.m. and last 90 minutes. The second screening will begin about 4pm and will conclude with the awards presentation.
Both screenings are open to the public. Tickets are $5 at the door - cash only.

The 10 teams were required to write, film and edit films from themes from a hat and to include three required elements in their works with everything completed within a 72 hour period.

Belmont resident and documentarian Jay Fedigan, Callie Crossley, host/executive editor of “The Callie Crossley Show” on WGBH Radio, 89.7 and a producer for Eyes On the Prize: America’s Civil Rights Years and Steve Garfield, founder of Boston Media Makers will judge each entry and select the winner.
