Middlesex D.A. Donates to Substance-Free Events at Belmont High
District Attorney Marian Ryan awarded $500 to 18 schools in Middlesex County for safe post-prom and graduation events.

Belmont, MA – Middlesex County District Attorney Marian Ryan donated $500 to Belmont High School to go toward substance-free events after prom and graduation.
Belmont High was one of 18 high schools in the county to receive the donation to promote safe choices among teenagers.

Ryan has hosted several events across the county in an effort to encourage safety when attending parties and other functions with their friends. She has also spoken to parents about "social responsibility" and the potential consequences of serving alcohol to minors, according to a press release.
