Moore Signs to Play Field Hockey at Bentley
Three-sport defensive standout takes her skills to Division 2 school.
Belmont residents will not have to travel far to see Becca Moore's red hair holding forth on a field hockey pitch.
The Belmont High School senior who anchored the midfield for the 16-win Marauders has signed a letter of intent to attend Bentley University in neighboring Waltham on a Field Hockey scholarship.
Moore – who also starred on the state semi-finalist ice hockey team and currently plays for the girls' lacrosse team – was one of the dominate players for the field hockey team that lost only two regular season games, leading the defensive corp while being the key in providing the team's forwards with transition passes.
