FREE Parent Photography Workshop

Beyond "Say Cheese": Tips for taking better photographs of your kids! Registration is OPEN!

Our kids are constantly changing and photographs are one way we can document the milestones along with their day-to-day activities. People frequently ask what is the best camera and lens to use when taking photos of their kids. My answer is the one you have with you. Your fancy DSLR camera isn’t doing much good sitting the box so embrace the camera you do use whether it is your phone, point-n-shoot or DSLR. With a few tweaks your photos can improve. In this workshop you’ll learn briefly how cameras work and use that knowledge to improve the lighting in your photographs. We will also talk about composition and getting your child(ren) to cooperate. What we discuss in this workshop will be useful for parents using either a phone camera, point-n-shoot or DSLR.
After registering for the workshop, please send an email to Beth Ann (bafphotography@gmail.com) with (1) the camera you use, (2) the age(s) of your child(ren), (3) 1-2 things you struggle with the most when taking photos of your child(ren). Come mingle with the TLC community at 7:00 PM for wine and locally-made Middle Eastern appetizers.
