Businessman and BHS Ice Hockey coach brings back ice cream to former Brigham's location.
When Dante Muzzioli was 16, he rented an ice cream truck.
"It was kinda fun cause we would hit the sites around here so I did it my senior year also," said Muzzioli, who turned that entrepreneurial spirit into a successful landscaping and general contracting business in Belmont.
Yet he always remembered that first truck and also about the good times he and many people had in Belmont where everyone came for ice cream.

"I remember coming to Brigham's since I was a young kid and how people had such happy times here," the long-time boys' hockey head coach said of the old-style ice cream shop at the corner of Belmont and Trapelo that served town residents since the 1930s.
So when he heard last year that the Belmont Brigham's was closing, Muzzioli saw the potential for both a winning business and a way to revive the site as a community hub.

And on Saturday, April 14, Muzzioli invited the town for the grand opening of his new store, named Moozy's Ice Cream and Yogurt Emporium, a derivation of his nickname, Muzzy.
The lime and orange tinted-store – "full of bright colors and bright signs and bright smiles," said Muzzioli – will serve a high fat premium ice cream and tart frozen yogurt, specialty drinks like lime rickys, salads, soups, sandwiches and paninis.
"I said that this could once again be a pretty awesome place for Belmont," said Muzzioli.
"We have a lot of stress in our lives. You go to an ice cream store, that stress goes away," he said.
Muzzioli said the store is a great business location due to the traffic that travel on two major streets through Belmont, its a gateway from neighboring Watertown and it overlooks the Oakley Country Club in Watertown.
"But what will make this place a success is because it's going to be first class from high fat in what we serve and how we treat our customers," Muzzioli said.
Moozy's is located at 2 Trapelo Rd., at the intersection of Belmont Street and Trapelo Road. The hours are from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day, yet hours are subject to change.
