Pret A Manger to Expand Presence in Boston, Cambridge

A London-based sandwich shop chain is about to expand in the Boston area. 

Pret A Manger, which currently has a presence at three locations in Boston, plans to expand to at least a dozen cafes in Boston and Cambridge during the next four to five years, according to a report in Banker and Tradesman. 

The company, which offers freshly-made sandwiches featured in refrigerated glass display cases at cafes and other venues, will plans to occupy space used previously by Men's Wearhouse at 101 Arch St. in Downtown Crossing; the other locations have yet to be announced, according to the report. 

Pret A Manger's locations in Boston include two on Boylston Street in Back Bay and one in Post Office Square.
