Belmont’s Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Breakfast will be held virtually on Monday, January 18th, 2021 at 9 am through Belmont Media Center.
The featured speaker, Renee Graham, Boston Globe Associate Editor and Op Ed Columnist, will address “Rejecting ‘Normal’, Embracing Radical Change: Can we build a democracy that finally lives up to its ideals?” Ms. Graham reflects articulately and powerfully in her column on many contemporary issues - from voter suppression, to institutional racism, to LGBTQ issues, to politics, and to other social justice issues.

The event is free of charge but donations to the Belmont METCO Support Fund are greatly appreciated. Please consider a donation to the Belmont Schools' METCO Support Fund for late day transportation for our Belmont METCO students participating in sports, arts and clubs at Belmont High School and for programs across all of the Belmont Schools with the goal of providing an equitable and inclusive community for our students. The Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Breakfast is the main fundraising event for this fund.
