Somerville Mayor Joseph Curtatone is expected to sign an executive order Thursday that would limit the time his police officers could hold undocumented immigrants solely on immigration violations, according to the Boston Herald.

After the order in Somerville, undocumented immigrants will only be held by police if they have a warrant out for their arrest or for non-immigration-related legal reasons, according to the report.
