Researchers at the National Center for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder and Boston University are conducting a study about the effectiveness of treatments for posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). We are currently recruiting adults who have experienced any traumatic or life threatening event and have experienced some of the following symptoms as a result: intrusive thoughts about the trauma, intense emotions, difficulty sleeping, avoidance of reminders of the event, or difficulty controlling your anger. If eligible, the study consists of 11-18 study visits that will take place at the Jamaica Plain Campus of the VA Boston Healthcare System and you will be compensated up to $420 for your time. If you are interested, please contact Sara at (857) 364-2067.
