• Beverly, Hamilton Men Identified As Fatal Boat Crash Victims: Essex DA (patch.com) — Beverly residents are mourning 67-year-old Carl Potter, identified as the local man who died after a boat crashed off Manchester-by-the-Sea's Singing Beach, while another man from Hamilton remains missing. Authorities, including the U.S. Coast Guard and regional dive teams, mounted an extensive search before suspending efforts Sunday, and Hamilton officials praised Potter's years of service to their fire department.
