Endicott College to Host Free Educational Powwow To Celebrate Naumkeag History (patch.com) β Endicott College in Beverly is inviting residents to a free Educational Powwow on Nov. 8 that highlights Indigenous history connected to the Naumkeag homeland, including present-day Beverly and Salem. The event, part of the Beverly 400+ commemoration, will feature Native dance, drumming, storytelling and crafts while encouraging community learning about the Massachusett and Pawtucket peoples.

2. Beverly Downtown Trick-Or-Treat Returns For 2026 (patch.com) β Families in Beverly can look forward to the return of Downtown Trick-or-Treat on the Street, set for October 29 along Cabot Street. The Greater Beverly YMCA is organizing the event, which will feature local businesses handing out treats, temporary street closures, and suggested alternate routes for drivers. Interested Beverly businesses are encouraged to register to participate and help create a lively, walkable Halloween experience.

3. JUST ONE STATION: Man arrested for throwing hammer at woman in 'random' attack in Beverly - Boston News, Weather, Sports (whdh.com) β A Beverly woman was struck in the leg by a hammer in what police are calling a random sidewalk attack, and a 32-year-old suspect has now been arrested and arraigned in Salem. Beverly's police chief says the victim did not know the man, and investigators are checking for any additional victims. Neighbors say they're relieved he's off the streets.

4. Symphony by the Sea Marks 45 Years with Four Sunday Concerts at The Cabot (patch.com) β Symphony by the Sea is celebrating its 45th anniversary with four Sunday concerts at The Cabot in Beverly, starting November 8 and running through April. Programs feature Mahler, British favorites, Brahms with rising star Keila Wakao, and a family-friendly "Peter and the Wolf." Tickets are on sale now through The Cabot's website and box office, giving Beverly residents plenty of time to plan.
