Beverly Election Day Food Drive

Beverly Bootstraps will be collecting donations of food and other needed items at all voting locations on Nov. 2.

BEVERLY, MA — Beverly voters can help out some residents in need when they head to the polls to do their civic duty next week.

The Beverly Bootstraps Election Day Food Drive will have donation stations set up at each of the Beverly voting locations on Nov. 2. Beverly Bootstraps collection bins will be at Ayers Ryal Side School, McKeown School, Cove School, North Beverly School, Centerville School and the Beverly Public Library.

The Beverly Public Schools Citywide Parent-Teacher Organization is helping to coordinate the food drive.

While all non-perishable items are welcome, Beverly Bootstraps is in particular need of peanut butter, boxed pasta macaroni and cheese, canned vegetables, cereal, tuna fish, cooking oils and sprays and canned chicken soup. Diapers and pullups size 2 through 6 are also needed.

Other items that would be helpful are canned fruit, beans, feminine hygiene products, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, soap, deodorant and non-dairy shelf-stable milk.
