Beverly Police To Collect Unwanted Medicine, Drugs On National Take Back Day

The collection will take place as part of National Medication Disposal Day in April.

BEVERLY, MA — Beverly police will collect unused and expired pills and narcotics as part of National Medication Disposal Day in April.

Residents are invited to drop off old and expired medications on April 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the public safety building on Elliott Street.

Items accepted include prescriptions and over-the-counter medications, samples, vitamins, veterinary medications and narcotics.

Items not accepted include sharps, IV bags, bloody or infectious waste, inhalers, hydrogen peroxide, and personal care products.

Sharps can be disposed 24/7 at Beverly Hospital and at the Sharps Kiosk of the Beverly Police Station.
