Beverly Police Issue Warning On Car Break-Ins

The department has received "numerous reports" of unlocked cars being entered and rummaged through in recent days.

BEVERLY, MA -- Lock your car doors, Beverly. The Beverly Police Department said Monday it had received "numerous" complaints in recent days about unlocked vehicles being entered and gone through. The alert was issued via the Department's Facebook page.

Police said the reports had come from the Mason Street and Lyman Street area, as well as Elliott Street, Bridge Street, and side streets off of those thoroughfares.

"Residents are reminded to secure all valuables and lock their vehicles," police said.
