Beverly Police On Lookout For Bank Robber

BEVERLY, MA — Police are looking for a man who they believe robbed the Citizens Bank inside the Stop & Shop on Elliott Street, according to scanner reports.

They described the man as a white man with a dark beard and mustache driving toward Salem in a black Chevy quad cab pickup truck. The truck is believed to have an American flag sticker on the back and two yellow gas cans in the back.

The scanner report noted the man is alleged to have passed a note to the teller but did not show any weapons. He was described as about 5'10 and wearing a black Northface jacket.
