Beverly Sends Out First Mail-In Ballots For Nov. 2 Election
Beverly City Clerk Lisa Kent said additional ballots will be sent out daily as she receives requests for mail-in and absentee voting.

BEVERLY, MA — Beverly residents who requested an absentee or mail-in ballot should be receiving them within the next couple of days.
Beverly City Clerk Lisa Kent said the city mailed out those ballots on Thursday to all those who requested them as of Oct. 7. She said any new ballot requests will be mailed out as they are received.
"Please check your mailbox in the next coming days for your ballot," she requested. "Please remember to sign your name on the inner tan envelope. Please mail your ballot back in the white envelope. You may also drop off your ballot in the Ballot drop box behind City Hall."

The last day to request a mail-in ballot is Oct. 27 at 5 p.m. Ballots must be returned by the close of polls on election day.
