Beverly Teen Arrested In Connection To Car Break-Ins

BEVERLY, MA — A Beverly teen faces numerous charges after being arrested in connection to breaking into cars around Washington Street.

Jakob Frederick Wilson 18, was arrested after police responded to reports of male entering vehicles on Washington Street around 5:30 a.m. He is charged with eight counts of breaking and entering in the daytime for felony, 2 counts of vandalism of property, a city ordinance knife violation, and on an outstanding warrant.

Police received a description of the suspect and said they observed Wilson, who they said matched the description, leaning into a vehicle that wasn't his. He was arrested following a brief investigation.

Police recovered a bag filled with items believed to be removed from cars that they said Wilson was carrying.
