Beverly Third Worst Boston Suburb?

BEVERLY, MA - The location-rating site RoadSnacks ranked Beverly as the third worst Boston suburb.

RoadSnacks used data from the 2009 to 2014 Census’ American Community Survey to find different Boston suburbs’: education levels; incomes; job opportunities; population density (lots of things to do); and appeal of local homes.

According to RoadSnacks, Beverly has a population of 39,748 with homes typically costing $349,900 and adjusted median incomes of approximately $45,305. They used this data to decide which Boston suburbs are the least appealing.

“The third worst Boston suburb goes to Beverly. Here, the unemployment rate is the 6th highest.On the bright side, there’s plenty do while you’re out of work, as the city has one of the higher population densities in the area,” wrote Sam Sparkes of RoadSnacks.
