Beverly’s Fourth of July Celebration

The annual Independence Day celebration is run by Beverly Farms and Prides Crossing.

This year’s 4th of July celebration features a lot of fun, unique events, hosted and run by the Beverly Farms - Prides Crossing Fourth of July Committee.

The activities kick off with the Youngsters Scavenger Hunt at Hastings House on Wednesday July 2nd. The hunt will begin at 6:30pm and end at 8:30pm, and is for kids aged 8-13.

The judging of the House Decorating Contest will be held from 7pm-9pm on Wednesday, and the results will be announced following Friday’s parade.

Thursday, July 3rd is the day to build your float for the Horribles Parade on Friday. Also on Thursday is the Family and Friends Cookout at the Hastings House, where people of all ages are welcome.

On Friday the 4th, the Horribles Parade begins at 8am. Floats that will be in the parade will form on Oak St at 7:30am.

Throughout the day, there will be more fun activities such as the “Old Timers” Softball Game at 10:30am at Dix Park, Races and Games at West Beach at 2pm, and music at West Beach at 5pm.

Finally, the day will conclude with the Flare Dedication and Shore Illumination at West Beach at 8:45pm, and the Aerial Fireworks Display at West Beach starting at 9pm.
