Bus Driver Charged For Leaving 5-Year-Old On School Bus
The charges come more than a month after allegations against David Boutros, 71, of Bradford, were first raised.

BEVERLY, MA -- Beverly Police issued a summons to David Boutros, 71, of Bradford, charging him with reckless endangerment of a child. Boutros, according to a police report, "knowingly disregarded protocols and never checked the bus for any students" after his routes on Sept. 7, leaving a five-year-old alone on his school bus. The kindergartner sat on the bus for several hours and then injured when he tried to walk home.
While Boutros initially told police he had cleared his bus after driving his route, security footage showed otherwise, police said. He is due in court on Nov. 7.
