How To Help Beverly Folly Hill Meadows Fire Victims
Relatives and friends have set up a group of GoFundMe pages for victims of the three-alarm fire on Dec. 29.
BEVERLY, MA — Friends and relatives of those who lost their homes, possessions, and, in one case, beloved pets in the three-alarm Folly Hill Meadows fire late last month have launched a series of fundraising pages to help with relocation efforts.
Beverly Bootstraps said its case management team has been partnering with the city to meet the immediate needs of the victims, as well as provide clothing through its thrift shop, food and personal care items through its food pantry, and housing help where necessary.
GoFundMe pages include those for Brittany Glastetter, whose apartment was where the fire started. Her home was a total loss and she also lost her two dogs.

Dan Tully and Michelle Tully lived at Folly Hill with their 11-month-old baby and dog. They were able to make it out of the building safely but their apartment is a total loss and they were able to salvage very few belongings.
Amanda Bertrand is a teacher completing a special education fellowship at a local elementary school while pursuing her Master's in Education degree. She was not present for the fire but lost most of her clothes, furniture, kitchen supplies and other essentials while also being displaced.

Tony Crumbling and Marci Globerman also lost nearly everything in the fire and were left without clothing, furniture, or a place to live.
More than 40 residents were displaced in the fire that broke out on the evening of Dec. 29 and took firefighters more than 10 hours to fully contain. At one point, high heat pushed back attempts to access the third floor of the building.
Danvers, Peabody, Middleton, Wenham, Hamilton, Manchester-By-The-Sea and Topsfield provided mutual aid as the fire reached three alarms.
