Snow Emergency Parking Ban Activated

A Snow Emergency Parking Ban will go into effect at 8 Sunday night in Beverly.

The ban will be in effect for up to 48 hours, according to Mike Collins, commissioner of Beverly Public Services and Engineering.

There will be NO PARKING allowed on any municipal street.

Violators will be subjected to ticketing and or towing. Municipal lots are available to
those that do not have other accommodations. The MBTA will allow Beverly residents to park in the Rantoul Street parking garage for a $5.00 fee. The parking fee should be paid at the kiosk.

City residents are also being reminded to keep snow clear from fire hydrants and catch basins. It is illegal to dump snow into streets.
