SpaceX Rocket Launch Lights Up North Shore Night Sky
Residents on the ready were able to get some impressive photos of the Falcon 9 rocket as it raced over the horizon on Saturday night.

BEVERLY, MA — A night out at the park or the beach got pretty exciting for a few seconds across the North Shore Saturday night as a streak of light resembling a comet raced across the sky.
The light was actually the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket that was launched out of Cape Canaveral in Florida. The rocket was carrying 52 Starlink satellites to orbit and could be seen flashing overhead at about 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Beverly resident Harry Wilson was at Singing Beach in Manchester when he caught the spectacular sight (above photo) on his iPhone. Originally thought to be a shooting star, it became apparent that it was something else because of the length of time it was visible.

Wilson later looked up what might be up in the skies and found out he had actually captured the photo of the often-elusive flyovers.
Michael Camuso, of Peabody, was also able to grab a video of the rocket that he posted on his social media page.
