Cabot, Balch Streets Cleared After Suspicious Package: Police
Police said an investigation into a suspicious package had closed Cabot Street.
BEVERLY, MA — Police have cleared the scene where they were investigating a suspicious package early Tuesday evening. Balch Street and Cabot Street were closed and trains were stopped while police investigated. Chief John LeLacheur said shortly after there was "no criminal aspect" and the streets were reopened.
Beverly and State Police are investigating a suspicious package on Balch St. Balch St at Cabot is closed. Trains are being held at this time
