Beverly, MA — On October 19th and 20th, Miranda’s Hearth, a non-profit focused on building community through creativity that is affordable, approachable, and accessible, will host the 5th Annual BIG Massachusetts Tiny House Festival at the North Shore Music Theater. The festival will welcome a full line-up of speakers, related businesses, musicians and artists -- celebrating the tiny house movement through fully immersive showcases.
Over 15,000 people have attended the annual Massachusetts Tiny House Festival since its foundation in 2014. Previously, the festival has been hosted in the cities of Somerville, Concord, Stoughton, and Marshfield, MA. This year’s events will be the first time tiny houses have been on display North of Boston and will feature over twenty tiny structures including tiny homes, skoolies, van conversions, vardo wagons, and box trucks on display and open for tours.
Local artist Mike Grimaldi will conduct a live painting on one of the tiny houses during the event while John Reid, who holds the Guinness Book of World Records for largest balloon sculpture, will build a life-size tiny house out of balloons. Miranda’s Hearth will be presenting three public art projects at the festival.

Many of the owners, as well as experts from around the region, will be giving talks at the event’s Tiny Traveling Theatre while local musicians will play throughout the festival on The Wandering Stage.
Miranda’s Hearth is also partnering with the Jewish Arts Collaborative to build a traditional Sukkah, a tiny structure central to the Jewish holiday Sukkot, at the event.
All across the country, people are turning to tiny houses in order to build sustainable, affordable, and creative lives. Experience the tiny house world for yourself at New England’s largest tiny house festival.
Tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the door. For more details visit http://masstinyhousefestival.com
