Ava Shae Winitzer, Billerica resident and daughter of Melissa Winitzer and Peter Winitzer, graduated from Cotting School in Lexington on June 6 as a member of the 132nd graduating class. Ava received The Killian Family Award, which recognizes a graduate who always gives 100% effort in all aspects of school life.
Founded in 1893, Cotting School serves students ages 3-22 with a broad spectrum of learning and communication disabilities, physical challenges and complex medical conditions. Its mission is to empower students with disabilities to achieve their highest learning potential and level of independence.
