2 Motorcyclists Killed In O'Neill Tunnel Crash
Police said two young men were killed when they lost control of their motorcycles on I-93 North early Saturday morning.

BOSTON — Two motorcyclists died early Saturday after they crashed in the O'Neill Tunnel. State police said the riders were part of a group of several motorcyclists driving on I-93 North around 2 a.m. when they lost control at Exit 23. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
At least two other motorcyclists who were with the victims stayed on scene.
Tunnel lanes were closed for several hours.

Police said Jerry Alphonse, 28, of Everett, was driving a 2006 Honda CBR600, and Aralt Cesaire, 26, of Medford, was driving a 2004 Suzuki GSX-R600, northbound on I-93 just before Exit 23, in the O’Neill Tunnel in Boston when they lost control of their respective motorcycles and crashed into the retaining wall on the left side of the tunnel.
Police said the crash is still under investigation, but officials believe the drivers were going above the speed limit.
