BOSTON, MA — An increasingly popular Mediterranean eatery has officially landed at Boston Logan International Airport.

CAVA arrived at the airport's Terminal B on Wednesday. MarketPlace Logan and the Massachusetts Port Authority celebrated the chain’s addition to Logan’s concessions program.

The fast-casual restaurant serves customizable bowls, pitas and salads with Mediterranean-inspired ingredients. CAVA, founded in 2010, has since expanded to more than 400 storefronts, including at least 20 in the Bay State alone.

CAVA, along with Berkshire Farm to Flight, were both expected to open in the terminal this spring, Paradies Lagardère, the airport restaurant and retailer, announced earlier this year. At the time, exact opening dates were not shared.

The iconic Massachusetts breakfast spot Mike & Patty's opened in Terminal C last month. And earlier this year, a modern-day fish shack with counter service and seating, Roger's Fish Co., opened in Terminal A.

Plus, another Boston favorite announced plans to expand into the airport. Mike’s Pastry, known for its cannoli, cookies and other Italian desserts, is set to open in Terminal C later this year, according to MarketPlace Development and Massport.
