Participating restaurants will include Sally's Apizza of New Haven, Quattro of Boston, Rossopomodoro at Eataly and Pizza Taxi of Vico Equense, Italy.

Raffaele Russo of Quattro, whom organizers described as the world's sixth-ranked pizza maker, will also participate. Vendors will prepare their pizzas in Fiero Group artisan ovens.

The festival will feature an interactive pizza-making demonstration from The Dough Connection. Sam Adams beer and wine from Vinzo's Wine will be available.

"Our goal has always been to create an authentic celebration of pizza, its history and the people who dedicate their lives to perfecting it," festival Co-Director Raffaele Scalzi said.

Advance admission costs $10 and includes entry and two pizza slices. Additional packages of three, five or 10 slices can be purchased as add-ons but do not include admission. Admission will increase to $15 during the festival weekend.

Tickets and additional information are available on the Boston Pizza Festival website.
