Boston Police Seek Man In Connection With 3 Break-Ins

A man sought by police is possibly connected to three incidents in the Roxbury neighborhood.

BOSTON, MA — The police department is looking to identify a man it believes was involved in three breaking and entering incidents at the same Roxbury building earlier this month.

The first reported incident took place on Tuesday, Aug. 11, in the area of 25 Fountain Street. According to police, an unknown man broke into the building and stole multiple packages. Officers responded to the building two days later after receiving a report of the break-in.

Police were called to the same address again on Tuesday, Aug. 18, after another reported breaking and entering. The victim told officers that a man had entered the building between approximately 11:15 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15, and attempted to steal multiple items, including a bicycle. The man left the building after several unsuccessful attempts to take the items.

A third break-in was reported at the Fountain Street building on Thursday, Aug. 20. Police said an unknown man entered the building at approximately 9:42 p.m. Officers responded to the address shortly after 10:20 p.m.

Police are now seeking the public's assistance in identifying a man captured in surveillance images in connection with the three investigations.

Community members with relevant information are being asked to contact District B-2 detectives at 617-343-4275. Anonymous tips can also be submitted by calling 1-800-494-TIPS, texting the word "TIP" to CRIME at 27463, or through the CrimeStoppers website. Detectives said they are continuing to review the facts and circumstances surrounding the incidents.
