Man Wanted On 18 Warrants Arrested In Downtown Boston

This man had a laundry list of charges against him.

BOSTON, MA — A man wanted on 18 active arrest warrants was taken into custody Friday morning, the Boston Police Department announced.

Kevin Davis, 66, of Hyde Park, was arrested at approximately 10 a.m. near Washington and Winter streets in connection with two separate breaking and entering and commercial burglary investigations. Police said one incident took place near Arch Street, while the second occurred near Neponset Avenue.

During the arrest, officers reportedly recovered multiple credit cards and identification cards that did not belong to Davis, including an identification card from a local university.

According to police, Davis was wanted on 18 active warrants from several jurisdictions, including Quincy, Braintree, Cambridge, Malden, MIT Police and Northeastern University Police. The warrants include charges of breaking and entering, larceny from a building, credit card fraud, trespassing and multiple domestic violence-related offenses.

Among the charges listed on the warrants are multiple counts of credit card fraud and larceny from a building, along with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, witness intimidation, four counts of violating an abuse prevention order, receiving stolen property and assault with a dangerous weapon. One Quincy District Court warrant includes three counts of strangulation or suffocation, kidnapping, assault and battery on a person over 60, and witness intimidation, according to police.

Davis is expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court on the outstanding warrants. Police said he is also wanted in Rhode Island and will be extradited to face a Rhode Island Superior Court charge of criminal violence, third offense of domestic violence.
