Teens Arrested After Police Find 3 Stolen Motorcycles In Boston

The teenagers barely made it out of the parking lot before being busted by authorities.

BOSTON, MA — Two teenagers were arrested after Boston Police said three motorcycles were stolen from a tow lot early Friday morning.

The 16-year-old and 17-year-old males, both of Dorchester, were arrested after officers responded at approximately 3:59 a.m. to Peter's Towing at 150 Freeport St. for a reported disturbance. While responding, officers were told a group of people was cutting through a fence and stealing motorcycles from inside the lot, according to police.

Upon arrival, officers were directed toward a person who was reportedly running from the tow lot. Police chased the suspect and apprehended him near 18 Clayton St.

Police were then told a second person had jumped over the fence and returned to the rear of the tow lot when police arrived. Officers searched the property and reportedly found the second suspect hiding underneath a truck.

During a search of the surrounding area, officers recovered three stolen motorcycles next to a bush outside 18 Clayton St. The motorcycles were subsequently returned to the tow lot.

Both teens are expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court on delinquency charges of breaking and entering at nighttime for a felony, larceny of a motor vehicle, and trespassing.
