Man Dies After Entering Path Of Green Line Train: Report (patch.com) — Boston riders on the Green Line's B Branch faced major disruption after a man entered the tracks near Commonwealth Avenue and Washington Street in Brighton and was fatally struck by a trolley Wednesday night. Boston police, firefighters, EMS, and Transit Police responded, and shuttle buses replaced trains between Babcock Street and Boston College while service was halted.
   

2. 19-Year-Old Charged With Murder In Fatal Boston Shooting (patch.com) — Boston readers learn that a 19-year-old from Jamaica Plain has been charged with first-degree murder and other offenses in a June shooting on Blue Hill Avenue in Mattapan that killed a Brockton man and injured four others, including a Boston resident. Prosecutors describe video and witness evidence, outline related charges against three additional suspects, and say the case is part of a broader Suffolk County effort to link fatal and non-fatal shootings.
   

3. Man Charged With Attempted Murder After Boston Stabbing (patch.com) — Boston police say a Revere man has been arrested and charged with assault with intent to murder after a stabbing near Warren and Dale streets in Roxbury left a 37-year-old man with a serious facial wound. Investigators followed a blood trail through the neighborhood, recovered the suspected knife from a nearby rooftop with help from Boston Fire, and plan to arraign the suspect in Roxbury District Court.
   

4. Police Investigating Fatal Shooting At Boston Gas Station (patch.com) — Residents in Boston's Hyde Park neighborhood are being urged to share any information after a man was fatally shot inside the Akiki gas station on Hyde Park Avenue Wednesday afternoon. Boston police homicide detectives are reviewing surveillance footage, searching nearby streets, and asking tipsters to call or text CrimeStoppers as they work to identify the shooter and understand what led to the killing.
   

5. Boston police seek woman missing since August (nbcboston.com) — Boston police are asking for your help to find 38-year-old Taylor Lyden, missing since Aug. 28 and known to frequent Washington Street in Jamaica Plain and the Southampton Street–Melnea Cass area. Her family fears she needs medical attention, and police have released her physical description plus several phone and text tip lines for anyone who may have seen her.
