Boston Cold Sets Record Overnight

For the first time since 1967, Boston has set a cold record.

BOSTON, MA - The bitter cold only intensified overnight into Sunday morning, with temperatures plunging below zero and records being broken all across Massachusetts.

Boston broke cold records in February for the first time since 1967 when the temperature dipped to -4 degrees at midnight, according to the National Weather Service. That cold broke records of -3 degrees set Feb. 13th (1967) and Feb. 14th (1934).

You shouldn’t expect it to feel above zero until Monday morning. So use the cold as an excuse to get close this Valentine’s Day. And make sure to stay safe:
