Boston Dog Training Facility Owner Charged With Animal Cruelty
Burlington's Tyler Falconer, the owner of Falco K9, is set to be arraigned later this month.

BOSTON, MA — The owner of Falco K9, a South Boston dog training facility that closed in March, is facing animal cruelty charges after being accused of failing to provide three dogs with the necessary amount of food and drink, according to court documents obtained by multiple outlets.
The accused, 30-year-old Tyler Falconer of Burlington, is set to be arraigned on three felony counts of animal cruelty and three counts of tethering confinement later this month, Boston25 reported.
Records show that the Animal Rescue League of Boston obtained the criminal charges on May 4, according to the Boston Globe.

Falconer also works as a firefighter and graduated from the 231st class of the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy’s 45-day Career Recruit Firefighting Training Program in 2015. He was placed on administrative leave from the fire department on March 9 following due to media reports about Falco K9 and “misconduct in a personal relationship,” town officials said Thursday in a statement shared with the Boston Globe.
