Perez was placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation, said Boston Fire Commissioner Joe Finn in a statement. Finn said that because of the seriousness of the allegations and the sensitivity of the investigation, the department would not comment beyond that.
Perez Rosado is scheduled to return to court on June 13.
This comes just after another firefighter was accused of sexual assault at a fire station in Jamaica Plain. Another firefighter was just reportedly fired after "questionable" social media posts.
