Boston Man Arrested, Accused of Selling More than 400 Grams of Cocaine to Undercovers
Nicander Serna, also known as Luis Borja, was arrested on six counts of trafficking cocaine.

BOSTON, MA – A Brighton man was arrested Thursday after allegedly selling more than 400 grams of cocaine to state troopers throughout the month of June.
Nicander Serna, 46, also known as Luis Borja, was charged with six counts of trafficking in cocaine. He was held on $500,000 cash bail at his arraignment Friday.
Between June 3 and June 19, troopers reportedly bought more than 140 grams of cocaine from Serna, with some of the transactions based on a warrant granted by a Suffolk Superior Court judge.

On July 28, troopers allegedly purchased 250 grams from Serna; shortly after concluding the transaction, Serna was placed into custody at his Parsons Street apartment in Brighton.
A search of Serna's apartment yielded 25 grams of cocaine, $8,800 in cash, a powdered substance believed to be a cutting agent, a digital scale, two cell phones and what were believed to be notes pertaining to drug transactions, police said.

The investigation was assisted by the State Police Gang Unit and special agents from Homeland Security Investigations.
Serna will return to court on August 30.
