From Boston to Nashville with love:
two singers find friendship with their duet, ‘If I Should Lose My Way’
When Boston broadcaster and singer Candy O’Terry and Nashville music business executive, singer and songwriter Jacy Valeras met earlier this year, their chemistry was instant, and their shared passion for music-making, intense. Thus, an unlikely friendship was born between two women who are so far apart in age, they could be mother and daughter.
It did not take long for the duo to find the right song to commence their musical journey. “If I Should Lose My Way,” written by Frank Wildhorn and Jack Murphy, debuted worldwide on October 29 on Country Note and is already stirring hearts, with women of all ages embracing the message of this friendship song:

If I should lose my way
Along this road, we share
Please wait for me, come what may.
If I should lose my way.
“I grew up listening to Candy O on my radio and have always had such a strong admiration for her,” said Valeras. “Her encouragement and support of me and my career is a perfect example of all the good that can happen when women come together to lift each other up.”
“No one comes into our lives by accident,” says O’Terry. “The pure joy of getting to know Jacy, to believe in her talent and share a song with her is proof that friendship really is one of life’s greatest gifts.”

About Jacy Valeras
