Boston Restarts Roxbury Municipal Building Flu, COVID-19 Clinics
The Bruce C. Bolling Municipal Building clinic reopens as three respiratory viruses are rising in the area.

BOSTON, MA — The Boston Public Health Commission has expanded health services at a Roxbury municipal building to include COVID-19 and influenza vaccines.
The Bruce C. Bolling Municipal Building was previously used as a coronavirus testing site. On Thursday, the health commission began offering COVID-19 and flu shots in the building.
The reopening is especially important now, the health commission said, due to high rates of respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) in children locally, plus increasing levels of COVID-19 and flu.

“We are currently noting an increase in respiratory viral infections, including influenza and RSV. It is highly likely that we will also note an increase in COVID-19 cases this winter. Preparation is critical for all of us right now,” Health Commissioner Dr. Bisola Ojikutu said.
The clinic will be open Tuesday through Saturday, noon to 8 p.m. weekly. Vaccines on hand include Janssen, Moderna, Pfizer and Novavax for COVID-19, as well as COVID-19 boosters; and influenza shots. People 6 months or older can get those vaccines. The clinic will also offer PCR coronavirus testing.
