Person Found Dead Inside TD Garden Parking Garage
Authorities had not announced any arrests as of Thursday.
BOSTON, MA — A person was found dead inside the North Station Parking Garage beneath TD Garden Wednesday evening, according to the Boston Police Department.
Boston Police officers responded at approximately 5:26 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 12, to the area of 100 Legends Way for a report of an unconscious person, Boston Police told Patch.
Officers soon determined that the person was nonviable, or no longer living. The person had not been publicly identified as of Thursday.

Authorities had not announced any arrests as of Thursday afternoon, and a cause and manner of death had not been publicly released. Police had also not indicated whether foul play was suspected.
The Salvation Army's 15th Annual Back-to-School Celebration was scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday at TD Garden. The event provided Boston-area students and families with backpacks, school supplies, winter coats, and other resources ahead of the upcoming school year.

More than 3,500 sets of supplies were distributed during the event, which included more than 250 volunteers. TD Garden also presented a $15,000 donation to Boston Public Schools' music and arts programs.
Authorities have not indicated any connection between the event and the person found dead in the garage.
The situation remains under investigation by Boston Police Detectives.
