MA Teens To March For Gun Control

The "March for Our Lives" next month could bring thousands to Boston Common.

BOSTON, MA – A rally organized by Boston-area teens is expected to draw thousands of attendees next month. The "March for Our Lives," planned for March 24 on the Boston Common, is one of several gun control rallies across the country inspired by the survivors of the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting.

Organizer Julian Lopez-Leyva told NBC Boston the stance is in response to "legislators who have failed us consistently and consistently and consistently." In an interview with the network, he said it is up to the country's youth to push for change.

A Facebook page for the rally has over 4,000 people slated to attend and more than 25,000 people marked as "interested."
