We are so excited for you to SHOW UP and SHOW OFF at our Spring Placement Sessions! Our Spring Placement Sessions will take place Saturday, May 30th from 12PM-3PM at Union Church in the South End. Once you've filled out this form, we will email you with an assigned time slot for your placement session. Placement sessions are around 10-15 minutes in length. Please let us know if you have any time constraints between 12 PM and 3 PM, as slots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Walk-ins are welcome, so tell your fellow musical friends to join you!A BCC Placement Session feels like an audition, but more all-inclusive and stress-free!
During a BCC Placement Session, you will:
- Prepare and perform an excerpt of any song: This can be in ANY style and doesn’t need instrumentation or a backing track. We ask that you please perform this piece a cappella.
- Do a short sight-reading exercise!
- Engage in a brief conversation about your artistic and social interests!
- Ask any questions you may have about our programming!Share any other talents: Dancing, acting, spoken word poetry -- anything! We want you to SHOW UP and SHOW OFF your other artistic skills!
