Boston Village, empowering older adults living in their homes by connecting them to the community, resources, and enrichment, is offering a fun, free outdoor class on Fiedler Field on the Esplanade. This full-body workout class prioritizes the needs of Older Adults and beginners, with focused attention on efficient body mechanics and injury prevention. A variety of exercises are designed to increase muscle strength, range of motion, and durability for daily activities. Participants will feel stronger, and notice an increase in energy level.
The instructor will do some lower impact cardio, strength training with resistance bands, balance/flow, and some light stretching at the end. Bring water, a towel, and a resistance band--if you do not have one, we can provide one for you. A limited number of chairs will be provided.

Directions to Fiedler Field:
Cross the Fiedler Footbridge and continue walking straight past the Esplanade play space. There will be a footbridge across from the play space. Continue across that footbridge, Fiedler Field will be across from a dock next to a statue of head.
