<a href="https://www.landmarksorchestra.org/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Boston Landmarks Orchestra</a>, led by Music Director Christopher Wilkins, will present a free community concert, “A Celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month,” on Friday, October 2 at 7:00pm at Chelsea High School. The concert will bring professional musicians and students from Chelsea High School Orchestra together for an evening of orchestral music celebrating Hispanic and Latin American cultural traditions. 
The program features music by composers from across the Americas and Europe, including Arturo Márquez’s vibrant Danzón No. 2, Louis Moreau Gottschalk’s Souvenir de Porto Rico, and Aaron Copland’s Paisaje Mexicana and Danza de Jalisco
from Three Latin-American Sketches. The program also includes works by Wolfgang Amadè Mozart, Ottorino Respighi, Leroy Anderson, and Benjamin Britten/Gioachino Rossini. The evening will also include food and refreshments following the performance.
“This concert reflects our mission to build community through great music,” says Music Director Christopher Wilkins. “By performing in Boston-area neighborhoods like Chelsea, we make live orchestral music accessible to everyone while celebrating cultural traditions that resonate deeply with our audiences. Performing alongside students makes the experience especially meaningful. It gives young musicians the opportunity to share the stage with professional artists and be part of a larger musical community.”

Join Trinity Boston Connects' Young and Old Soles on Saturday, October 3, for the 12th annual Sole Train 5K, a community run/walk that celebrates movement, mentorship, and connection. Sole Train is a year-round youth development program that uses noncompetitive running to foster goal setting, leadership, and community among Boston youth and adult volunteers. 
The event will bring together runners, walkers, families, and supporters for a morning of fun, fitness, and community spirit. Proceeds support Sole Train's year-round programming, which currently serves more than 150 Young Soles and 40 Old Soles. 
Schedule:

<ul><li>Pick up your bib &amp; enjoy light breakfast before the run/walk begins </li></ul>
<ul><li>9:45 a.m. – Gather for program &amp; warm-up </li></ul>

<ul><li>11:30 a.m. – Post-run celebration&nbsp; </li></ul>
