Jacob Zayen Costly Chong, Hyde Park resident and son of Wendy Chong and Steve Costly, graduated from Cotting School in Lexington on June 6 as a member of the 132nd graduating class. Jacob received The Kathy Tyrer Award for Independence, which recognizes a graduate who has consistently worked to reach their full potential.
Founded in 1893, Cotting School serves students ages 3-22 with a broad spectrum of learning and communication disabilities, physical challenges and complex medical conditions. Its mission is to empower students with disabilities to achieve their highest learning potential and level of independence.
