End of the Line? Frustrated People Sound Off on Orange Line Disaster
"One day, someone will die on those trains." ... "And I thought the election was bad." ... "It's only going to get worse."
The latest MBTA disaster was one of its scariest.
Wednesday's Orange Line mishap, in which a train's motor reportedly overheated and filled the car with smoke as panicked commuters busted out windows to escape, was more than an inconvenience. It posed a legitimate danger to riders.
Social media users continued to express their frustration with the MBTA into Wednesday evening, including this woman who described her miserable experience.

The debacle discouraged some from taking the T anytime soon.

Some brought to light very real concerns following such a frightening mishap.
