Fifteen Percent of Bostonians Are Fully Vaccinated

Nearly six out of every 10 residents over the age of 75 have received both doses of the vaccine.

BOSTON — Fifteen percent of Boston residents have been fully vaccinated, up from 13 percent last week, according to state data. Nearly 60 percent of Bostonians over 75 have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Thirty-five percent of residents ages 65 to 74 have received both doses of the vaccine, and roughly the same number have received just one dose. You can view Massachusetts' town-by-town data by clicking Municipality Vaccination Report.

In the weeks leading up to March 23, Boston reported 2,197 cases of coronavirus. The average daily incidence rate was lower than the previous week's, decreasing to 22.6 from 22.8.
The percent positivity remained the same at 1.1 percent.
