Fifth Man on Most Wanted Sex Offenders List Arrested

Caled M. Donatiu is the fifth of six recent additions to the state's Most Wanted Sex Offenders list to be captured.

A recently released list of Massachusetts' Most Wanted Sex Offenders has gone from six to one remaining wanted man, Mass. State Police said Tuesday.

The fifth man, 32-year-old Caled M. Donatiu, was arrested on Falmouth Street in Attleboro, wanted by state and federal police for not registering as a level 3 sex offender and not providing a DNA sample.

Donatiu has previous ties to Boston, Everett, Peabody, and Lynn, police said. He was arrested on Falmouth Street in Attleboro without incident and is being held at State Police barracks in Foxborough. He will be arraigned Tuesday in Wrentham District Court.

He was convicted in 2008 for sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl in Salem with an accomplice.

Police said Donatiu and an accomplice followed an 11-year-old girl home for several blocks before jumping her, forcing her down an alley, and sexually assaulting her. Donatiu and his accomplice were arrested as they fled the scene.

The final sex offender left on the State Police Most Wanted list is Lenny Santiago, convicted for indecent assault and battery and open and gross lewdness and lascivious behavior in 2002 for an incident in Methuen.
