Free Breakfast Sandwich At Clover Wednesday Morning
Here's how to get yours. Did we mention it's free?

BOSTON, MA — Want a free sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich? Clover has you covered tomorrow. Oh and by the way the sausage part is made from plants, but you probably won't notice.
If ever there was a moment to give the Impossible meat, a vegetable product a try this may be the perfect chance. Wednesday, anyone who shows up at Clover Food Lab between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. (while supplies last) and asks for the sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich will get it free (aside from the cost of a meat-eater's pride in finding out that the vegetarian version really can taste awesome).
The Boston/Cambridge based vegetarian fast-food joint is combining Impossible meat with fennel, sage, thyme, cayenne, and a bit of brown sugar putting it inside their house-made pita, with a melty slice of cheddar made in Vermont, and a 6.5 minute egg from Maine for this sando.

Clover?
Clover Food Lab was founded by MIT alum and environmentalist Ayr Muir in 2008 as a vegetarian food truck. Clover's mission is to address global warming by building a better food future. With the help of fans, it expanded to 13 restaurants (it's down to 12 now that the Brookline location closed recently) sourcing much of its menu from local farmers. Muir said he hoped to spur a positive conscientious relationship to food and wanted folks to have a light, healthy, conscientious, organic food option in the area.
"Meat made from plants treads lighter on the planet than meat made from animals, using 95 percent less land, 74 percent less water, and creating 87 percent less greenhouse gas emissions," said Clover in an email to customers this week promoting its latest breakfast sandwich.
Still, Clover wants feedback from those who come snag one. If you're not one of the first 50 or so to get one for free, you can still buy one according to the folks at Clover Hub in Cambridge. For $9.
"Does it measure up to the best sausage egg and cheese you ever ate? Instagram, tweet at us, email us, or make a video of yourself eating it and send it out into the world," they wrote in the email.
