Girl, 5, Kidnapped In Dorchester, Police Seek Vehicle
The girl was in a car that was stolen along Dorchester Avenue on Monday afternoon. She was later found in Randolph.

BOSTON, MA — Boston police are searching for a car connected to a kidnapping that happened in Dorchester on Monday afternoon.
According to police, a 5-year-old girl was in a car parked along Dorchester Avenue around 4 p.m. when someone stole the vehicle. The girl was found safe wandering down Powdrell Avenue in Randolph a short time later, according to state police.
Boston police are still searching for the stolen car, a 2007 Honda Accord with the Massachusetts license plate No. US117D. State police urged anyone who saw the car to call 911.

The kidnapping happened at 1331 Dorchester Avenue, which is a few blocks north of the Field Corner Red Line station. The girl's father had run into a restaurant to get takeout when the vehicle was stolen, according to reports.
